I have always wanted to travel to Italy and take in all the culture and good food you can find there. I’m not sure what city I would want to visit most, but looking at the top 10 cities in Italy; it would seem to be a hard choice for anyone to make.

I guess it would be best to visit more than one city, but I would probably pick Venice, Italy as my top choice. I would love to travel on all the water canals that make up the roads in the city of Venice. I know Rome, Italy would be a popular place to choose for most too. So much cultural and things to do in Rome.

Bologna is the capital of the Emilia-Romagna Empire region in Northern Italy. This city is loaded with wealth and it also has one of Europe’s oldest universites located in Bologna, Italy. I hear the streets are lined with arcades and there are some great cuisines in the Bologna area of Northern Italy.

One of the richest European cities is in Milan, Italy. You can find all sorts of galleries, shops, and great restaurants in Milan. I think Milan would be a spectacular place to visit in Italy.

In the Northwestern part of Italy is where you will find Turin. Turin, Italy was the host of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games and would be a great place to make a stop at, while you were visiting Italy. Turin is located between the Po River and the foothills of the Alps.

Florence, Italy is located in Tuscany and it has one of the most important Renaissance architectural and art centers located there. There are many famous paintings and sculptures that are located in Florence.

Perugia, Italy is a great tourist spot and it’s a place that you can learn Italian from at the University for Foreigners. The city of Perugia is located on a hilltop and has an excellent view of the valley beneath the city. You can find Perugia in the area of Umbria.
