Create opportunity with your blog

One of the Number one traffic building secrets is adding content to your website. Have you ever considered that a blog could be the tool that makes this very possible, fast and extremely easy to do. we use our blog to help write about informative sites that will help our readers. The latest trend in content and brand awareness is social media optimization. This is where a company helps you across all the various social networking sites to understand where your traffic is coming from and how to capitalize on this great opportunity to engage with your customers. Blogs continue to grow and being able to use them to provide value and updates to your customers is still a viable channel. Blogs are written in RSS or Atom, both very effective content management systems. After you set up your blog you need to change your settings to archive daily so you have a new page of content every time you make a post to your blog.

Blogging daily is best if you want to add new content every day. If you archive daily, then post each day the blog software will generate a new page of content for you. It’s definitely the fastest and easiest way to add content. You can also partner with a search engine marketing firm to help you develop unique content for your blog and get it out to the masses. If you want to add some additional revenue to your blog then companies like BizzClick.com can help you find advertisers for your site.

The best way to integrate a blog into your website is to make your website into a blog. If you have fresh relevant content on your blog then top search engines like Google will return more often to gobble up that fresh content. Advertisers are looking for ways to reach new audiences and your blog may offer just the right demographics they are looking for. That means your site will be spidered more often, and if you just built another page you want spidered, just leave a link within your blog posts to that page and the spider will follow it.This is a great way to get your pages spidered fast. But it’s important to have the page you are linking to be somewhat related to the topic of your post. Google is getting more picky about the content of the pages where your incoming links are coming from.

Getting your content noticed

Content generated by consumers has definitely taken the internet by storm. The rise of YouTube and other video sharing sites, are growing daily. Comcast has just announced a new site in which they will offer consumers to be able to create and upload their videos, in which they could then be seen on their On Demand channels.Verizon is also looking at a deal where their subscribers to their cable offerings could pay a small fee to view the most YouTube favorites through their TV.

The interesting question that will be raised is how would you compensate someone for the homemade video of watchin ice melt, that for some reason becomes highly sought after in YouTube. This will add another dimension and complexity to the Consumer Generated Media, that continues to grow by leaps and bounds. So break out the camcorder and record those videos, and who knows you may find your self on cable TV.

Using social networks to gain brand awareness

With the explosion of the Social Networking sites like MySpace many are flocking to these site to create their online presence. What many are forgetting is that this open to the public and depending on what they put on their site could come back to haunt them later in life. There are employers and Universities that are now surfing MySpace and Facebook sites for students who are applying for internships and college admissions. This has killed the careers of some new college grads if they have material that the employer may find objectionable. College admissions may look at the entries on your journal online as to your commitment to getting your education. If your MySpace is filled with posts and pics of the latest kegger some admissions offices may not feel you are serious about your educations and deny your application. It remains to be seen what if any disclosure is needed by colleges and employers if they make decisions based on online sites like MySpace or Facebook. The morale of this story is to be careful of what you post online even if you think that only your friends are the only one reading your site. Get connected online and make some new friends and reconnect with old ones.

Finding great deals on printer ink

With three kids at home that use the computer on a daily basis for school work and socializing we always run into a problem of shared resources. We started out with 2 PCs and just recently found a great sale on a laptop. We also has a wired printer and with all the printing we knew we had to go wireless and find a cheap ink alternative. This has relieved some of the fighting about who has been on the longest and who gets on next. My oldest daughter has to check in with her friends via IM, and my two younger ones want to play on Club Penguin. With our wireless setup we felt we had all the bases covered and could locate the PCs anywhere around the house. Well that became a short lived scenario. As they started using the computer for research for their school work they needed to print off documents and there was only one printer that we had connected to one PC.

So we went out to find a wireless printer that could seamlessly be installed and all the computers in the home would have access. After several days of research we landed on the Lexmark X7675 Wireless All in One Color ink jet printer. I read reviews on several models and the Lexmark X6675 and felt that the added features and easy setup was worth the little extra money. We also looked at the cost of the printer ink to make sure it was going to be affordable. We had no difficulty setting up the printer and scanner function on all three computers. By inserting the disc and following the instructions we had everyone connected and printing beautiful prints and documents within about 10 minutes. All the other features that it offers of color copying, scanning, and faxing will come in handy for those last minute home work projects. My wife even got to use it by scanning in some heart shaped designs that she had to help make invites for the kids school party. Be sure to look at sites like inkgrabber.com for some of the best deals on inkjet cartridges for your printer and enjoy all the color and black white prints without getting soaked on costs.

Basic study tips that I need to apply to my life

Guest post written by Dean Manning

When it comes to studying, I’m kind of bad about following my own rules to make sure that I get all the studying done that I need to do. I’m kind of bad about just getting my assignments done and shrugging off studying until the day or two before an exam. But I can’t do that any more. I’m going to be in some challenging courses for my major this semester and I need to make sure that I’m studying before I have to so I’m not worrying about compensating for that at the end of the semester.

I thought that I would try and find some new studying tips and see if those would make any difference. While I was online doing that I came across some direct TV internet packages that sounded really great and after I showed it to my roommate, we signed up for one of them for our apartment.

I found some basic study tips that sometimes I forget about, like checking back over your notes to see if you missed anything that you should add and even just rereading over them frequently. I think that if I just use those, it would make my life so much easier.

Is the climate changing

Global Warming is certainly making a name for it self these days. I guess the politically correct way to say it is “Climate Change”; no matter how you say it or what you think of it; it’s impact is being felt around the world. We are seeing parts of the world being flooded by heavy rains; while other parts of the world continue to deal with severe drought conditions. In the states you can look to B-Dry basement systems to help protect your home from these potential water hazards. Fresh water is running low all across the world and soon there won’t be enough clean, fresh water for every man, woman, and child on this planet. We are facing a crisis with our environment here on Earth and there just isn’t enough being done right now to stop it.

It’s great that we have made strides in the right direction and we are slowing down climate change these days, but man is still on the losing side of things. The ice around the North Pole is melting away very fast and soon there won’t be any ice up there. The shipping industry and certain countries will love the fact they can travel through this part of the world when the ice does melt, but the oceans will be forced on land that is being used right now for people’s homes. Millions and millions of people will need a new place to call home, as their land will be under water in the coming years. This isn’t something that is going to take hundreds of years to happen, but the changes are happening today. We are seeing the effects of climate change and no one can truly predict, just where we might be a decade from now.

Internet marketing trends

Having a tool that will help identify internet marketing trends based on a certain set of value can really be helpful to anyone who owns or publishes a blog

Using a digital signature to help your business

Plus customers want to know they your site is secure and safe if they are going to be coming back or making a purchase. Using a service where you can use their digital signature can help establish credibility among your customers that you have one through the steps to secure your site.

Advertising your business for success

The easiest use of  business phone lines is to help your customers reach you.

As the month comes to a close the inventory that a station may have could still be wide open and then the race begins to find customers to fill those slots. We just had the chance to check out a new way to help advertisers and radio and TV stations come together and buy and sell their inventory. This is a unique reverse auction where radio stations actually do the bidding for the advertisers business. The lowest CPM usually wins and is a win/win for both parties since advertisers can stretch their marketing dollars and radio stations have a chance to sell unused inventory. Advertisers will also be able to increase their brand recognition and customer engagement because they will now have a better resource to different radio markets.

No boring Lectures

Written by guest blogger Nancy Tripold

The internet was perhaps the best thing that ever happened to me. I was a two year college dropout, and had never finished my marketing degree. I didn’t have a dead-end job, but one could say that my job was not the best, especially for supporting my family. Then one day, my wife and I decided to install satellite internet, due to a deal that we got with our television provider. I decided that it might be time to finish up my college degree, before my credit eventually expired, and signed up for some online classes.

Taking online classes was an excellent decision. I have never been good at sitting through lectures, and with my online classes, I didn’t have to. In most cases, lectures were posted in video format online, and I was free to view them as I pleased. I had only a single class that had no lectures at all, and even that class I did pretty well, as I was essentially free to learn what I wanted. If I take classes in the future, they will definitely be online

Mobile marketing has a new friend in WeReward

With the millions of smart phones that are being used in the US companies have been trying to help expand their mobile marketing campaigns to take advantage of those that are on the go. The younger generation use their phone for more than just making calls today and have a greater sense of connecting with others no matter where they are. The iPhone has created a demand to have simple and fast connections to the internet no matter where you are to stay connected, shop, and simply engage with others that are around you. I have recently downloaded the new app from Wereward.com where they connect businesses and end users to pay them for simply shopping and checking in.
Simply put all you have to do is find a local merchant through the app which mostly automatic and by completing their task you get points which are then converted to cash. This has to be one of the easiest ways to make some extra cash for doing many of the things that you are already doing. How many times have you checked your twitter or facebook account to see those updates that Joe just stopped by the local mexican restaurant to have a Margaretta? What if by doing that he got paid? I am looking forward to visiting some of your local merchants with my new app loaded on my iPhone and gaining some extra spending cash.

Blogging contest from DNXpert

We recently stumbled upon DNXpert.com and found that they are offering up a contest that contains up to $4800 in cash and prizes and we thought we would join in to see how this pans out. There are two of the prizes that we would love to win the first being the $500 PayPal and the second being the 10 LLLL.com names from Domainmagnate.com. We have been dabbling in site acquistion and promotion over the last few years and have started having some great success in acquiring domains and then shaping into a market niche and selling them off. So this is why the $500 would be nice to add to our funds to go out and aggressively pursue some of the top level domains that become available.

We know that are competing against seasoned pro’s that know every little advantage there is to know but with some luck and ambition we can build a small little empire that can help build our brand awareness while increasing a nice income through online domains. If you are looking to jump in on the contest that ends November 30th then head on over to DNXpert.com and enter today. And be sure to check out their forum which has some great posts and lists about expiring domains and how to acquire these valuable internet properties. They are adding various ways to enhance your chances so make sure that you subscribe to their feed and best of luck.

Staying the course

The internet world is changing daily with content sites like YouTube, FaceBook, and MySpace capturing younger viewers and creating a totally new market place. To compete in this ever crowded space online you need to find a niche, and become the best in that particular area. You can never compete against the big companies like Walmart, eBay, or Amazon. You must create your site with your target audience in mind, so that they you create an experience for them when they visit your site. Logical advertising is going to play a new role in how companies use the internet for reaching out to your customers.
