With all the new lending programs and options that are available it can get very confusing to understand what method of financing or refinancing may be your best option. They are also focusing news and updates for consumers to help them better understand their options. Because the laws have become more strict for lenders an attorney that specializes in real estate will be able to uncover potential predatory practices that may have gotten you into your current situation. For those that are having to face foreclosure there are specific laws and programs that are now in place to help you protect your home provided you are able and willing to do your part. The unethical lenders are the ones that helped to start this whole mess and there are still lenders out there trying to convince homeowners that they can be better off by refinancing even though they may be upside down in their current loan.

I read an article on American Residential’s blog that really helped me put into perspective the loan modification process. It listed all the eligibilities for a home loan modification. It’s good to see some people doing research. Thanks for the post!
