It is hard to believe that February is here and Spring is just a month away. This winter has been hard on a lot of folks with record snowfalls and freezing temperatures in many parts of the country. Even the “Sunshine State” saw snow and below freezing temperatures for the first time in over 20 years. With such a harsh winter many experts are predicting a warmer than usual Spring and Summer which is fine by me. I am sure all the merchants buying wholesale sunglasses are chomping at the bit to start seeing the sun and those hotter temperatures because it can only mean better sales for them and their merchants. It will be interesting to see what fashion in sunglasses is all the rage this year because the over sized sunglasses are just not that appealing to me.

Knowledge Management (KM) has been around for years, but has recently started to make a comeback as technology has made the process easier for end users, and IT to implement. In terms of content, nearly all organizations make documentation and content authored by support reps available in a knowledge base ,but nearly half also index or import discussion forum threads as well much more of a KM 2.0 approach. At the same time, the average knowledge base contains nearly 50,000 documents, yet more than half of them are seldom or never used.

We have been using a digital camera for several years and the technology has come so far that even the novice photographer can create some beautiful shots. Digital photography is great in that you can take extra shots of a subject to get the right one and then view it on your PC before having to print out your original. We recommend getting as close to your subject as possible without relying on the zoom. This will reduce any blurry images, and use a higher shutter speed, as the slower ones will create blurry picture if your are not completely still. The best advice is take pictures at random without all the setup as you will find the improtu pics will usually be the best.

If you are trying to buy a home and have not been advised of the 2010 Home Buying Tax Credit then you may want to check with your real estate professional who is helping you with your search. The US Government has announced that the tax credit was extended until the end of February meaning that you need to have a contract in place and close by the end of June. This benefit is meant to help infuse the home buying sector with additional dollars and help those that are trying to sell their home. Basically the tax credit is targeted at new home buyers or those that have not owned a home in the last three years with a tax credit up to $8000.
tax_creditMany builders and sellers are leveraging this tax credit in order to help them sell their current homes or inventory. It is estimated that for each medium priced home that is sold there is an additional $30-$40K added to the local economy. The housing market has a huge impact on the economy and as the Spring weather starts to roll around the housing market should start to realize an increase as people are looking to take advantage of historically low interest rates and additional bonuses and tax credits. I have read some reports that if the momentum continues to grow in the demand for homes then some builders will offer up their own “tax credit” savings to buyers in order to sell of inventory that has been sitting around for months.
