The fight that will be one of the most watched in recent years is back on between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao. It is thought that Floyd want’s one additional fight leading up to his title bought with Pacquiao. At least I wish there was a such thing as “My Club” as me being the owner of it. I always wanted to have a club for entertainment. I might still do it one day, but nothing is in the serious planning stages right now. I would mainly want to have pool tables in my club. So I really would be looking to have a pool hall and just building up some things around that theme. It would be nice to have a stage with a good sound system for local bands could have a place to play and entertain my customers at the same time. I think I would add a lot of televisions, maybe some poker tables, and I think adding some video games in too, along with a lot of pool tables. I would even have PCs available for those that wanted to play online and you could challenge your friends on Facebook. You could get facebook poker chips through your account and then we would have a local prize for the winner. That would be my idea of a great club. Then I could tweak it more down the road and try to cater it to my customer’s wants more. I still might have a club sometime in the future, but for right now, it just remains for the future!
I have been looking all over the internet for the movie “drumline” with Nick Cannon. I had seen this movie a few years back and was looking to watch it again because of the amazing drum corps that were featured during the movie. My son is in his third year for little league baseball and so far he has only been on one team that did not do so well. Next year is when they start getting serious about baseball and you notice folks in the stands with a speed gun to check the speed of the kids fastball. I see these being used more and more younger age groups and our league actually has purchased one for the kids for winter ball when they are practicing inside. This is where the real money come into baseball where they are developing talent. The most important thing is that these kids love this game and to them it’s nothing more than a game. They just want the ball to come to them while playing the field and they can’t wait to take their swings at the plate. The final score isn’t as important to them as it is to the parents. I would just like to remind all the parents that are attending the little league baseball games, that they remember it’s just a game and the umpires are not people out there that do this for a living.
